When it got colder outside, I decided to do an experiment and move my tomato plants indoors. I simply moved one of my mini greenhouses in, and added a grow light. I’m actually convinced they would have done just as fine without the mini greenhouse — it was mostly just a nice way to frame them in the room.
The plants adjusted just fine, and the tomatoes turned red and beautiful. The ones that weren’t fully grown made perfect cherry tomatoes. Some plants looked a bit tired before I moved them in, so for those I picked the tomatoes and let them mature on the window sill instead.
