My Wild Strawberries are of course wonderful. But they are also getting invasive. They have climbed into this Raised Bed and has really been taking over it. The Asparagus plants are not establishing properly since they are having a hard time to compete with the Wild Strawberries. So today i picked the last ones and started to clear them out.
Finally:
Covering the soil with left over Clippings from the Greenhouse Tomato and Cucumber prunings to prevent the Wild Strawberries to regrow to fast. The Clippings will also enrich the soil with organic material:
